ALGORITMA UNTUK MENDETEKSI SISI DAN REDUKSI NOISE SPECKLE SEBAGAI SATU RANGKAIAN PROSES DALAM DOMAIN WAVELET

Abstract

In general, successful speckle reduction method has to accomplish the requirement : variance reduction in homogenous area , and edge preservation in image. Edge detection in SAR images is difficult and method developed for optical images are applied after a process of speckle reduction. Others word, a process of speckle reduction and edge detection in SAR images are two jobs separately.

In this paper we propose that  a process of speckle reduction and edge detection in a SAR images as one process.

Finally, some numerical experiments are given to compare between the method and standard methods for de-noised speckle and edge detection in  a SAR image. This experiment result show that the proposed method is better than other methods.
