ANALISIS PENGARUH AIR GAMBUT DAN AQUADES TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN PADA MATERIAL SEMEN

Abstract


The compressive strength of cements suspended on peat-water was compared to those suspended on aquadest. Data showed that the mean compressive strength of peat-water suspended cements for 1, 3, 7, and 28 suspension days were 138,778.104 kg/m2 ; 195,659.104 kg/m2 ; 278,742.104 kg/m2 ; 362,615.104 kg/m2 respectively; while those of aquadest-suspended cements were 143,782.104 kg/m2 ; 198,819.104 kg/m2 ; 297,834.104 kg/m2 ; 397,771.104 kg/m2. Peat-water suspended cements on 7 and 28 days showed higher than the standard compressive strength, while that of 3 days was not significantly different from the standard. The aquadest-suspended cements on 3 and 28 days did not show different compressive strength from the standard, but 7-days suspension showed higher than standard compressive strength. Based on the graphical representation demonstrated that the compressive strength of peat-water suspended cements were lower than that of standard, and the longer of suspension time tends to have lower compressive strength. The present study demonstrated that the peat water has effect on the compressive strength of cements.
