Abstract


ABSTRAK

Kandungan mineral-mineral magnetik sebagai penyusun batuan dapat merekam dan membiaskan radiasi magnetik dan dapat digunakan untuk memerikan keberadaannya berdasar pola data anomali magnetik. Seringkali pola sinyal yang dihasilkan cukup kompleks, disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, sehingga pola tidak bersesuaian dengan deposit benda.  Pada makalah ini, dipaparkan hasil penelitian dan eksploitasi mineral bijih besi yang telah dilakukan di Tanjung Bintang. Terdapat ketidak sinkronan antara pola sinyal terhadap benda sumber, yang menyebabkan permasalahan pada penafsiran kualitatif data anomaly magnetik.

ABSTRACT

Systematic associations of magnetic minerals occur in many deposits and, consequently the probable presence of mineral deposits can be deducted from anomaly pattern in magnetic data. An important problem in the interpretation anomaly pattern in magnetic data was response magnetic signal which could be influenced many factors. Sometimes, anomaly pattern uncorrelated with body deposits. In this paper, we present result magnetic research and exploitation on mineralization iron ore at Tanjung Bintang district. We found the geometry source is slab, and response signal result magnetic measuring unmatched with the body. This trouble is finally giving problem and misses qualitative interpretation on anomaly data magnetic.
