PENGARUH AMOBILISASI ENZIM GLUKOSA OKSIDASE (GOD) PADA ELEKTRODA KAWAT PLATINA
Abstract
This experiment aimed to construct an electode of glucose oxidase (GOD). A platina wired was layered with GOD immobilzed on celulose acetate membrane. Furthermore, properties of the electode was investigated by measuring potensial of the electrode in glocose solution system. The construction of immobile GOD on platina wired was carried out following the method of Godjevargova. The amount of enzyme was measured with Lowry method. The potensial of the electrode measured as working electrode and compared with a Ag | AgCl electrode as reference. The results showed the potensial electrode measurement dependent on glucose solution concentration. Increasing in glucose solution lead to increase potensial of the electrode. In addition, sensitivity of the electrode faster than wired without layered by GOD. Evidence of glutaraldehide on the electrode supported sensitivity of the electrode and also extended the life time.
