PENGARUH TEMPERATUR PADA LAJU ADSORPSI BIOMASSA Sargassum duplicatum YANG DIIMMOBILISASI DENGAN POLIETILAMINA-GLUTARALDEHIDA TERHADAP ION LOGAM Pb(II), Cu(II), DAN Cd(II)
Abstract
Sargassum duplicatum adalah is on of the species of brown algae (phaeophyceae) which can be used as biomass to absorb the metal ions. However the S. duplicatum biomass has weakness that it is easily ruined by microorganisms. To solve this weakness, in this research, immobilization suing polymer matrix obtained from cross-link between poliethylammine-glutaraldehide therefore has been done. The results showed that adsorption reate of Pb(II) and Cu(II) metal ion on immobilized Sargassum duplicatum biomass optimum at 30oC with speed of reaction constant were12.4 x 103 min-1 and 7.3 x 103 min-1 respectively, while for Cd(II) metal ion, the optimum condition obtained at27oC, with speed of reaction constant 7.4 x 103 mint-1.
