ANALISIS ATENUASI ENERGI GEMPABUMI TERHADAP MEDIUM BATUAN DAERAH LAMPUNG BERDASARKAN DATA GEMPABUMI TAHUN 2003-2005

Abstract

It has been executed earthquake energy investigation according to rocks medium of Lampung Region that located at 102º BT – 107º BT and 4º LS - 7º LS. The earthquacke data applied in this investigation based on earthquake take placed in 2003 – 2005 with magnitude between 2.5 – 4.6 SR. The goal of this investigation is determined of absorption coefficient of earthquake wave of Lampung Region and analyzed of rocks medium influent to earthquake wave absorption level. The attenuation is explained by absorption coefficient determined by graphics method. In the investigation, region of earthquake was grouped to four areas based on depth. On the other hand based calculation result of all regions would be obtained attenuation 0.01 per kilometer, with Q around 50. If observed from attenuation value and quality factor generally, could be determined of rocks medium traveled over earthquake wave is shale and sandstone.
