PERANCANGAN ALAT PROSES ADSORPSI DENGAN METODE KONTINYU BERBASIS PENGENDALI LOGIKA TERPROGRAM PLC OMRON ZEN 10C1AR-A

Abstract


It has been built an equipment for adsorption process based on Programmable Logic Control (PLC) OMRON ZEN 10C1AR-A. PLC controlled open or close position of solenoid valve and speed of servo motor for sample glass position. The equipment used continuous method which flow liquid sample contained heavy metal ion to bioreactor system. In bioreactor system the liquid sample was flowed into glass column containing algae biomass. Temperature and flow of liquid sample in glass column was held on constant value according to time setting. Time setting of the process was 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 minutes respectively. The components controlled of the system were PLC, solenoid valve and servo motor.  PLC OMRON ZEN 10C1AR-A was programmed to produce a computer program which operated the system according to sequent of the process. The result of liquid sample was stored safely for next observation about the adsorption level of biomass algae in liquid which contained heavy metal ion. The continuous method for adsorption process used this equipment is more effective and efficient than manually for researcher.
