BIOAKUMULASI LOGAM Hg DAN Pb DI PERAIRAN TELUK LAMPUNG, PROPINSI LAMPUNG
Lampung Bay is a coastal region used many activities, such us aqua culture, fish capturing, tourisms, harbor, housing, and other trade activities. Other function of Lampung Bay is end of river current. Main source of metal to Lampung Bay are man activities, namely industry activities, domestic, agriculture, consumption of fossil fuel and mining. Metal entry to Teluk Lampung will be accumulated in organism body. Hg and Pb metal concentration research must be done, this research novel concentration of Hg and Pb metal water, sludge (bottom substrate), and aquatic organism such us green mussel (Perna viridis). Diving used to take sample and samples collection were analyzed at Instrumentation Laboratory, Chemistry Department, Mathematic and Natural Sciences (MIPA) Faculty, Lampung University. Research result showed Hg concentration in both water and sludge is lower than standard requirement for sea organism living. On the contrary, Pb concentration in both water and sludge higher than standard requirement for sea organism living. Both metal concentration Hg and Pb are lower than LC50- 96 h value for mollusk organism group. Concentration Hg and Pb in sludge are higher than them concentration in water. Hg concentration in mussel body (Perna viridis) the highest , the other way Pb concentration in mussel body the lowest than both them concentration both in water and sluge.
