APLIKASI QUINONE PROFILE UNTUK ANALISIS PERUBAHAN PRILAKU MIKROBA DI LINGKUNGAN
Abstract
Quinone profile analysis was applied as a tool for quantifying the changes in microbial community structure in tidal flat, soil, water and wastewater environments. The quinone profile analysis was successfully to clarify the symbiotic relationship between microorganisms and clams on the improvement of pollutant purification in tidal flat sediment. In soil ecosystem, quinone profile analysis was successfully to explain the effect of fertilizer and pesticide on microbial community structure. Useful information about quinone profile characteristics in pond, river and biological wastewater treatment systems were also obtained. Comparison among microbial community structure in pond, rivers, activated sludge and soil were elucidated using triangle diagram and diversity index.
