Groundwater movement and landscape change can be observed by the gravity change in observation point. Time-lapse microgravity measurement is reliable to identify underground movement and level change (down lift and up lift landscape level).
Microgravity FVD methods is one of the most reliable method to identify groundwater movement. Simulation of model shows that decreasing groundwater level yields negative time-lapse FVD, and viceversa, and lanscape level movement yields zero time-lapse FVD. Interpretation of time-lapse FVD give a better groundwater level change.
