ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN LOGAM PENGHANTAR UNTUK MINIMALISASI DAMPAK NEGATIF SUTET
Abstract
As we know that negative effect of SUTET (High Voltage Network) has been a pro-contra in this country since several years ago. Dealing with the issue, the research is trying to find the alternative solution in minimizing the negative effect of SUTET. Reducing of SUTET’s electromagnetic wave intensity can be performed by wrapping up SUTET with the conductor metal. The results showed that silver was the best conductor metal as SUTET’s blanket to reduce the electromagnetic wave intensity effect. Based on simulation/theory, the silver thickness as thick as 2.5 cm reduced the SUTET’s electromagnetic wave intensity up to 0%. Cuprum, a cheaper metal can also be used to reduce electromagnetic wave intensity effect. Based on simulation/theory, to reduce electromagnetic wave wave intensity up to 0%, the cuprum thickness that need to be used as blanket was 2.5 cm, howeverexperimentally it was 6 cm. This optimum thickness can be made smaller if the cuprum blanket is covered over the SUTET wire.
