Perbedaan Pertumbuhan dan Kandungan Gizi Tetraselmis sp. Isolat dari Lampung Mangrove Center pada Kultur Skala Semi Massal dengan Konsentrasi TSP Berbeda

Abstract


Tetraselmis sp. is a type of phytoplankton that can be found at Lampung Mangrove Center. It is commonly used as living food for shrimp and fish larvae at the cultivation site. In the cultivation process of Tetraselmis sp. usually use conwy fertilizer which is relatively expensive. Therefore, research is needed on the use of alternative fertilizers at cheaper prices but the resulting nutritional content is not much different. In this research used a combination of agricultural fertilizers (Urea, ZA, TSP) with the focus of treatment on the amount of TSP concentration. This research aims to know the best TSP’s concentration for growth and nutritional content of Tetraselmis sp. in Lampung Mangrove Center on semi mass scale. The research used Completely Randomized Design with five treatments and four repetitions. Treatment A (ZA 30 mg/L, Urea 40 mg/L, TSP 5 mg/L), B (ZA 30 mg/L, Urea 40 mg/L, TSP 10 mg/L), C (ZA 30 mg/L, Urea 40 mg/L, TSP 15 mg/L), D (ZA 30 mg/L, Urea 40 mg/L, TSP 20 mg/L) and E (conwy as control). The observed parameters were thepopulation density, specific growth rate, doubling time and nutritional content. The data of growth were analyzed by one way analysis of variance and post-hoc test with α = 0,05will be conducted if there are any significance differences. The data of nutrition content were analyzed descriptively. Results of ANOVA showed the highest growth occured in TSP 5 mg/L, the highest protein content in TSP 10 mg/L, the highest fat content in conwy fertilizer and the highest carbohydrate content in TSP 15 mg/L.
